There are no verification emails. Because we use an application process, we don't require emails to be verified. We made this clearer in the application itself, but that may not have happened until after you joined.
It's telling me that I need to verify the account in order to do anything currently so I think that it might be a bug.
Can you show me a screenshot? I'll raise a bug with the dev.
Can you give me a bit more context? What part of the site does it appear on? All pages? Only when posting? Only in the settings etc?
It appears on the homepage/feed, there is also another message that appears above comment sections that says "Verify your email address to comment."
Ok, bear with it. I've reported the bug. Will see if we can set your account to approved directly in the database in the mean time.

I still had the message and wasn't able to upvote anything, looks like it's fixed now though. Thank you for fixing it!

Hi, I'm having this same issue. I moved over from the Lemmy instance using the generated code and got a generic error message when I tried to create my account, but the account was still created. However, I am being asked to verify my email like OP, and I am receiving the following error whenever I try to log in through any third-party Android app:
Client Error. Code: 400. Message: No row was found when one was required.
I've manually verified you. We're stuck with this bug until we can update our PieFed version, which will hopefully be today!
