Hi everyone! My name is Brianna Sandner. I am a Sociology MA student at the University of South Florida. I am also a late-diagnosed autistic woman (diagnosed at almost 21) and lover of all things #actuallyautistic.

I’m seeking volunteers to participate in my neurodivergent-led research study to learn more about the experiences of late-diagnosed (or late realized) autistic women and job interviews. You do not have to have a formal autism diagnosis to participate in this study.

If you are intersted in volunteering, please send an email to brianna82@usf.edu or send me a DM via Lemmy.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from this study at any time. Any identifying information will be kept private and confidential.

Here is what to expect if you participate • I will send you a consent form for your review and answer any questions or concerns you may have. If you wish to participate, we will set up an interview time that works best for you. • We will have a 60–90-minute interview via your preferred format (Teams or direct messaging). Interviews may be shorter, depending on your availability. • I will ask questions about your experiences and challenges with job interviews. I will also ask about the role of your late diagnosis in these experiences. Finally, I will end the interview with a few demographic questions.

Sincerely, Brianna Sandner

Since autism in females presents differently, we need a place to discuss our own issues and triumphs dealing with Autism.
