My entire school had a banned words list they put on a board near the main door.
I remember walking in past the board one morning only to get pulled back by a friend, he didn't say anything just stood pointing at the board....They added 'Milf' to the list of banned words.

The concept of "banned words" (other than the offensive stuff, of course) in a classroom is so funny to me. There is no way that the person who came up with that wasn't the sourest loser ever.
Plus kids will find a way. Our english teacher didn't want us to say 'shit', but to use 'sugar' instead.
There was a lot of 'bullsugar' and similar in that class.
I remember that the vice principal of our Christian high school was annoyed with us saying 'gosh darn', and made the mistake of telling us, "If you're going to say 'gosh darn', you might as well say 'god damn', because that's what you really mean, and the Lort knows your heart."
... We all just started flat-out saying 'god damn' like we were told.
yeah this just basically "come up with a bunch new things that'll annoy us"
Try teaching middle school. You’ll understand. That being said, teachers mostly do this as a joke.
I'm a school bus driver and we're supposed to not allow foul language. It's only a problem on the middle school runs, and it's not really worth the effort on my part to do anything about it. I'm just happy when I can unload all the kids and nothing has been set on fire.

Also of all the words banned, there is only one they are not allowed to spell
I always assumed (hoped) these were put up as jokes by the teachers. "Dang it Jeremy that's another one for the board!" type of banter.
It often is. Teachers understand those kids need to have something that they can call their own. Every generation does these things with language.
But I'm sure there are some teachers out there that foolishly try to squash the words.

Not allowing Miku Miku Beams is reasonable tbh. Firing one of those off can level cities.
