u/themeatbridge is right about conservatism being a void of ideology. Their only ethic is hierarchy. And their only goal is to oppose movements that disrupt that hierarchy. That's why their called reactionaries.

Yeah it goes hand and hand with the Evangelical idea of, if I'm good i will be rich and the transitive property of if someone is rich they must be good. That where you get demons fly Commercial and thus Kenneth Copeland needs a private plane.

TBH I feel this way about both establishment parties. And the voting system. We need to elect third parties now and get rid of establishment parties, as a longer range goal.
