Marriage isn’t about love; that’s a peasant’s fantasy.

fwiw My family lore includes a story where my grandparents married because they were both poor but then my grandmother inherited a (hard clay) farm and needed someone to work it, and my grandfather didn't mind marrying an older woman. I respect that!

but...I can tell the post is in the voice of a noble I think from Game of Thrones so I guess it makes sense in that context.

I finally bit the bullet and moved on. I was a sync user for over a decade but it's in such a sad state now. I'm pretty happy with Summit, its design is very similar.
