The 5th and 6th amendments say otherwise.

[-] adarza@lemmy.ca 47 points 1 week ago

he used those as butt wipe last month.

[-] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago

'Memba how he wanted to move the Constitution to the Oval Office? He'd start crossing shit out with a sharpie.

[-] Ledericas@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

he wears a diaper so he never wipes, he actually has a person to do that when he shits himself, on his show he would regurlarly evacuate his bowels when he flies into a rage, and he had someone on the production team to wipe him down, while he is clueless that his pants were soiled.

Your vaunted Constitution lasted about three weeks and fell to one South African and a handful of red-pilled Xenialls.

[-] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 92 points 1 week ago

His dumbass supporters love to LARP about being revolutionaries, meanwhile this is literally one of the issues we fought the American Revolution over.

The only part of the constitution any of them care about are four words of the second amendment.

Until they see one of the minorities they want dead in camps carrying a gun.

[-] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

I don’t think most of them can read past a third grade level

[-] YoiksAndAway@lemmy.zip 72 points 1 week ago

...says the most litigious fucker ever.

Then you can’t arrest them, you target-practice dropout

[-] JPSound@lemmy.world 46 points 1 week ago

Then those without trial must be presumed innocent. There's your answer, ya orange bitch.

[-] HexadecimalSky@lemmy.world 41 points 1 week ago

The whole taking people to a foreign island having them rot in a prison "awaiting" "trial", made our founding fathers quite mad and so they put some little things in our constitution. If there is one thing the founding fathers would still agree on, its that everyone everyone get a fair trial in a timely fashion. If there isn't enough money, cut some of the corporate kickbacks or maybe try actually collecting taxes from the rich.

[-] aramova@infosec.pub 27 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I agree. You should stand trial for treason with Putin's hand so far up your puppet ass it's embarrassing to those of us who truly think you're a waste of carbon, but I'm all for skipping and going directly to the sentencing phase.

Might be the fairest trial your Cheeto flavored fuckwadary has ever faced.

[-] jagged_circle@feddit.nl 27 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Is he...is he saying we can impeach his ass without a congressional hearing?

And we can send him to the gallows without a trial?

[-] snekerpimp@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

Cool, so no trial for you for treason, just straight to the gallows, right?

[-] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 23 points 1 week ago

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

These TRAITORS always forget that their weaponizing of government is a two-edged sword. First chance we get, we're going to use it on them, except they'll deserve it.

[-] Ledericas@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

they heard of death squads that went after the dictators after thier govt falled.

[-] thedruid@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

Don't need to give everyone a trial. Just you, Donald, just you.

[-] chronicledmonocle@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago

He already got one. He was guilty and got away with it anyway cuz 'Merica or some shit.

[-] fritobugger2017@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

the constitution says otherwise

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago

TRAITOR

Plain and simple.

I always figured America THE BRAVE would handle a traitor swiftly and with extreme prejudice. Turns out we're a bunch of weaklings who let traitors walk all over us.

[-] Almacca@aussie.zone 20 points 1 week ago

How many more lines are you going to let him cross, America?

[-] socsa@piefed.social 20 points 1 week ago

There it is folks

[-] Ton@lemmy.world 19 points 1 week ago

You can always expect Trump to say the quiet part out loud, the US justice system has always only really favoured the extreme rich.

[-] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago

If Deportation doesn't require a hearing then Impeachment & Removal doesn't require a Congressional vote. Full stop.

[-] choab@discuss.online 5 points 1 week ago

if there are no rules then there are no rules

[-] Formfiller@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago

Sounds like he wants a civil war because that’s how you get a civil war

[-] Freshparsnip@lemm.ee 8 points 1 week ago

Basic human rights are too much of an inconvenience for the regime. He thinks it's unreasonable to give people due process even though he himself has greatly benefited from it.

[-] fox2263@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

Well you’ve saved gabillions with DOGEY haven’t you? Then you can afford more staff for trials right?

[-] ShittyBeatlesFCPres@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

How hard did he slam them?

[-] Madison420@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Motherfuckers need a thesaurus.

[-] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Trump BUKAKES the constituion, calls republicans mothers STUPID cum dumpsters, supporters OPEN WIDE and bend over while cheering! More at 10 bob back to you

[-] pjwestin@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

"We can't give everyone a trial!"

Smash cut to 250 years of giving everyone a trial.

[-] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago

It's not like it ever uas.

[-] nul9o9@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 week ago
