I'm in this picture and I don't mind at all. Penguins are fucking cool. I'm gonna go to Argentina just to see them in the wild.

Does anyone know how we ended up with penguins as the logo? I kinda get the BSD demon “beastie.” Microsoft chose the windows flag/window pane. Mac has an Apple/the finder face. Android is a cute green robot. iOS pretends to be too sophisticated for a mascot so we’ll just say it’s the Apple again.
And yet we somehow got penguins.
