Chief Kachindamoto has broken up 850 child marriages in three years, and banned the sexual initiations of young girls.

Old article, but a very cool lady I admire and want to highlight.

I'd never heard of her thanks so much for sharing! She's a true warrior and inspiration, I love how she's fought for her beliefs and for the young people. If your "tradition" is so blatantly awful then it needs to be destroyed... and she's managed to do that
