as great as high speed rail would be... the problem with this would be the people it would kill because they cut corners. same reason to be wary of any push for nuclear power by this administration.

Bold to assume he would build something for the benefit of the peasant class. Or create something where he cannot profit from financialy.
I'm all in favor of this, though he'll find some way to fuck it up, if it happens at all and isn't just a way to siphon money out of the government for his buddies
