hmmm would i rather invest my time and effort into having access to all the media i'm interested in a central, organized location? or pay a few bucks here, a few bucks there, and have a dozen different streaming apps to the point where i need a whole other app just to tell me which app has which show or movie?
it's not about the price tag
Self hosting is awesome, no commercials, no loading, and best of all, no supporting shit compnies
I will never give a dime to apple on principle.
They may be feeling the pinch of a ton of their subscribers cancelling it after they watched the last episode of Severance.
