Its one of the biggest unions in the US AND has huge ties with other unions. If they really wanted to, they could shut down quite a bit of the government at the same time. And not just the feds either.

This administration wouldn’t even have to think twice about calling in an army of scabs, the national guard, and even active duty military… to crush collective bargaining. Just wait, if they don’t destroy their spirit to fight before hand, this is what they’ll do next.

The trouble is, shutting down the government would play right into Trump's hands because that's what he wants to do anyway.

What we need is a general strike of everybody outside of government too.
