People read headlines only, that’s a fact, just look around (like Lemmy in general). Simultaneously headlines fight for your attention because that’s the only chance to show you more ads. This is an incredibly toxic combination even if it looks okay on paper. People are kind of dumb but that’s more of a character flaw that we all share.
