Very optimistic about this DWL fork - animations, rounded corners and overviews. But I wish it were trivial to patch DWL to include these features.
Its its improving a lot, but the documentation is lacking. It has a nice global window toggle feature and overview which is my main interest on the wm. I test it like every month to see whats new and better, but for now it is River for me.
Could you expand a bit on toggling global windows? I'm not sure I know what I'm potentially missing.
It toggles a window(tiling or floating) to all tags and it highlights it. One can make this in River and Dwl pressumably but it is very unconvenient if possible. It is very similar like pining floating windows in Hyprland and in Sway.
