The thing about Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in.

In celebration of this sub's newfound activity, I will have some tay paz tonight.

The most hilarious scene and episode imho is the one where they go to theatre and Moss ends up as bartender while Roy pretends to be disabled. If you want to sell this show to someone, it’s this one. 😂

It's been years since I laughed that hard. Loved that episode along with the Smarties cereal scene:

Jen: Okay. Moss, what did you have for breakfast this morning?

Moss: Smartie cereal.

Jen: Oh my God. I didn't even know Smarties made a cereal.

Moss: They don't. It's just Smarties in a bowl with milk.

I knew a guy in the army who ate Oreos this way. Poured a bag of them into a big mixing bowl, poured milk all over it, and went at it with a spoon.

If not the best, then one of the top 5 episodes of all time, of all of the shows hahahaha

This episode and the internet episode are my top two.

Completely agree, the cluelessness and the outrage after the speech hahaha, well done 👌

The sad truth...

I've long considered this show but never really endeavored to watch it. Can anyone sell me on it?

[-] Blastasaurus@lemm.ee 8 points 1 year ago

One of the best British comedies ever IMO.

Absolutely mandatory for any comedy fan.

[-] TheWoozy@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I place it a close second to ~~Farty Flowers~~ Fawlty Towers.

MANWELL! There is too much butter, on those plates!

[-] KazuyaDarklight@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

More seriously, it is, but it helps too if you are in some form of IT or IT/Support adjacent field. The humor is also somewhat classically British, so depends on if that works for you or not.

The IT Crowd is well written and absurdly funny. You don't have to have a technological background to appreciate the show, but if you do, it is essential to watch this show.

The episodes aren't long so I'd recommend giving it a go for an episode or two. It's a show I can re-watch anytime.

[-] Custoslibera@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

It’s got short seasons and there’s only 4. Also ~20 min episodes.

I know because I’ve watched it all, I don’t get the hype but at least it was short and now I can kind of get the show references, although this one I don’t remember.

I won't do the voice! I won't do the voice!

[-] Bazz@feddit.de 5 points 1 year ago

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?

[-] TomMasz@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

Anyone else look this word up to see if it was real besides me?

No! ........ yes
