Deciduous trees have been shown to keep their leaves when their temperature is artificially reduced.
I once made a meme responding to one like this on reddit, I had a fight in be comments with the creator of the other meme, but they deleted their account, so I can't find the original one
the frigid north, Siberia and Alaska is perfect for the Coniferous Gang. The real party happens at the Equator though, in the fast growing and evolving rain-forest.
