That's 100% a VPN being used. Some countries get around it. You need to shop around.

Or a public wifi being used. For some reason, Reddit blocks that as well.

You'll want something like lib redirect or a reddit viewer from fdroid, I recommend radreader.

When the Reddit is Fun app shut down due to the API thing, I spent days deleting hundreds of comments/posts that I had made.
Redreader still works and is open source.

You can also use the revanced patcher on the official Reddit app to remove all ads and suggested posts etc.
