Solidarity across conditions is vital, and this includes understanding the needs of both city people and rural people. Its also important to keep perspective that at this point the majority of of people live in urban settings, and prioritizetion of resources should be mutually equitable
Solid point, thank you.
Fair point, cowboy.
Ah. Irony
Maybe the conversation should be about how we all need aid and social safety nets and debt relief (also critical thinking skills) and not about how those other people are undeserving because of their ineptitude. We all only know our own localized surfae area of a really big elephant, and it's all valid.
United we stand and all that. Ultimately it's the plutocrats who refuse to serve the public, and are quicker to invest their ill-gotten gains in the best ways to turn us against each other so our taxes go to their vanity projects and not defending the people from corporate exploitation.
Whether you wear a hardhat, a field hat or a barracks cover, you deserve to be supported by the government (as per the social contract). And it's failure to aid you is not the fauilt of any other part of the population, but the tiny one with immense amount of power.
