I'm excited - X is a great game and the bonus content may finally give closure its story. I've waited years for this.
I'm also just happy to replay it. It's the only WiiU game I have ever bought and I don't even own the console - I just borrowed one from a friend.
Is there a story order to the games? I played Xenogears, but missed this series and have a Switch.
Think of them as MCU movies. They all work independently, but they reference each other and share a universe. Each game is fun on its own, but I think they get better if you play them all in order.
There are a few exceptions:
Not at all, the Xeno series is more of an anthology. Except for the numbered titles, like Xenosaga I, II, III and Xenoblade Chronicles I, II, III. "Xenoblade Chronicles X" is even unrelated to "Xenoblade Chronicles," aside from themes and references.
I never had a Wii U, so I’m super excited about this! The soundtrack is great also. Really looking forward to March.
This must be one of the last bigger games for Wii U being ported, or?
I.. stopped playing because I got so tired of the BGM when in the city. Didn’t mind music elsewhere. If this release includes a volume slider for BGM maybe I’ll try again.
Certainly the last successful Wii U exclusive to be ported, that I can remember at least.
