is anyone else having problems with newpipe on android? if yes, is there an alternative for free youtube premium? (hexbear.net)

recently newpipe has started automatically pausing itself as soon as i watch about 80 seconds of a video. then when i un-pause it, it automatically skips to the next video. very, very irritating. so my questions are:

is there a fix for this?
if not, what's the move to replace newpipe?

Did you try the generic troubleshoothing methods like reinstalling, clearing cache, etc? If that didn't work, I wouldn't know how to fix that, sorry, but...
Youtube Revanced maybe? It has worked for me. However for downloading videos you still need Newpipe I think

Revanced has a patch option for downloading videos called External Downloads.

I haven't used it, so I can't guarantee it'll work.

Mine starts piling up crashes until eventually I can't watch anything. Usually I just reinstall it.
