also Jeff Bezos is an anti hero who helps take down the world’s capitalists by joining the anarchist side

also the Illuminati can be defeated if you drain their personal wealth but they still control the means of production

I cannot believe I wasted so many hours on this show. Hours I will never get back. A percentage of my one chance at life is now permanently gone. I have never seen a show go from an 8 to a fucking 3 within 4 seasons.

The overall antagonist of the show is the Deus Group, but the only deus that pissed me off was the ex machina saving the characters’ asses because everyone loves monologuing. All the effort the producers went through to make the hacking accurate and this is the end result.

I don’t even give a fuck about this stupid fucking last episode man. I’m fast forwarding through all this psudeo emotional bullshit until the show ends.

Fucking lol. Leon was a loyal foot soldier who knew the ins and outs and faces of all the important characters and the spooky dark army just let’s him… be a ‘freelancer’? Wow. America truly is the land of opportunity. The creator must’ve given a fat check to Joey Badass and needed to squeeze every second with him to make it worth it.

Dom doesn’t kill Darlene despite putting her in a compromised position, and the dark army was an inch away from massacring her entire family and. Not even the car salesman who also almost killed her.

And now poverty is solved because the Illuminati’s money is transferred into people’s bank account. Oh not even that. It’s their fucking shitcoin wallet, that Darlene insists won’t be intercepted because E Corp is independent - because the government and corporations - never mind man. Preaching to the choir.

Wait this isn’t the end? There’s more to this fucking ass show? TWO more episodes?

It's a shame only villains can have interesting backgrounds/motivations in TV/Film now because a trans woman spending her entire life trying to fund research into parallel universes to find one where her partner is still alive would be one hell of a story.

I hate to say it, but I saw the first few episodes when they first aired and I was still in middle or high school. And it’s what inspired me to specialize in cyber security.

I’m stuck in this path because of this show, and now that I’ve watched it, I fucking hate the show. Incredible how life can change over the smallest decisions.

Thank you Elliot for inspiring me to switch to Linux and prioritize security in my digital life, and also showing me what true disappointment looks like.

It's like a rite of passage to dislike one or two of the shows you used to love. My username is based on Ready Player One, which was the coolest book ever to middle school me :kermit-pain:
