Found in UK, not stumbled upon this before.

It could be a kind of hygrophorus speciosus. The wiki says US but the entry for hygrophorus includes UK.

Goes without saying, but probably don't eat it, especially not off internet identification.

Cool! Take a couple of pictures from different angles next time, and I'm sure people here will love to try and ID it. (Don't be afraid to touch any mushroom, just tell small kids not to touch them.)

For gilled mushrooms, a photo of the underside is usually necessary for ID. That said, I don’t think it’s one I know.
