Honestly I was a little worried he was some r*pist escaping justice at first because of the way it was reported/people were talking about it, but from further reading it seems like it was just a bar fight? So probably pretty cool for him if he gets to stay there, although I'm sure he'll miss his family
That’s why I wouldn’t do this. It’s the family part. I can only imagine he didn’t have much family or something else must have been going on. Even if living in the DPRK might be better I would rather just serve the time and then be able to see my family again.
