In light of Makan CPUSA finally getting banned, I've come to realize that his posts would on average gain the most traction out of anyone here.

Particularly the ones about videogames.

Are we all just secretly gamers? Terrifying prospect.

Official ban reasoning says it was because of comments he made in the matrix server. His recent post appeared to spark a discussion about the CPUSA which didn't go down very well, I assume it had something to do with that.

They where uncivil in a discussion about CPUSA, then through around insults and accusations without evidence in the Lemmygrad matrix channel

His baseless assertions remind me of when he declared ResearchGate ‘alt‐right’, and when I asked for evidence all that he told me was ‘I was there a few times and saw their bad takes.’

Why the fuck would an alt‐right website of all things host a black researcher’s report on Fascist Italy’s mustard gas attacks on Ethiopians? That’s utterly mindless. It pissed me off because I wanted to tell people about a serious subject and the first comment that I got was an ‘I don’t like this source’ comment (and a poorly substantiated one at that). I thought, ‘Fuck, I guess that I can’t link to this one anymore.’

That said, I think that a permanent ban was too long for him.

Judging by the modlog, the ban switched from temporary to permanent after he said some stuff in the lemmygrad matrix room. I have no idea what it was he said, though.

He was throwing a fit and saying he would get hexbear to not federate with us “because he’s on the mod team”

  1. why would we even care that much? Like it will be nice to have more people to engage with our comms but we do just fine without hexbear federated
  2. he’s not an admin over there like he was implying, he’s only been on hexbear for a month and they let him mod a couple of comms, he has 0 sway on their admin team

It’s a shame, I think he was a decent poster

"Sten" cycle by Bunch and Cole, even if just for the based afterword, but it's a good reading and its one of the most fun dunks on monarchists, it shows literally perfect immortal enlightened ruler straight from the wet dreams of r/monarchism and how horrible he fucked it up anyway. Also a lot of bashing of capitalism dystopias, american imperialism and it even have WW2 Pacific theatre in space for some reason.

Plus there is the two Scots joke being dragged over entire volume, that is significant achievement in itself.

Somewhat related: I thought of the pun "cis admin" the other day and am having trouble thinking of a setup to the delivery that doesn't suck.
