The internet should just stop telling us what we want. It's really bad at it.

An absolutely fantastic Australian kids show about a family of dogs, it's wonderful and one of the best kids shows I've seen

As someone who has no kids, I enjoy the fuck out of some Bluey.

Australian cartoon that started up a year or two before the pandemic. It has a weird opening theme song. That's literally all I know about it.

A very good 'kids' show that homestly anyone could enjoy.

You guys are becoming parents?

Why?

I have a kid but I'd love to foster/adopt. Can't even do that in this economy.

You see, when two people love each other very much...

Parents who make their whole identity their children. Pretty wacky and funny...

When you have children too young for school, you can't really stash them and you can't leave the house after 8pm or so.

So you have a half-social life with your childless friends and hope they don't mind that they're always with you, or you make friends with other parents and your kid schedules can line up a little.

That's not identity but rather responsibility of being a parent. It's not easy.

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 2 points 2 years ago

You're right, of course. I'm sorry I forced you to create a human life!

I think I met you guys in 2004 or 2005 at Anime Weekend Atlanta... I'm pretty sure I still have a sticker or card or something that you were handing out.

It was shoved in a storage trunk that I was digging into last year, and like any good cleaning day, I put it back where I found it and put the trunk back into the closet.
