Is nobody else here interested in reading the article? The OP didn't even post a link to the article!

Mods, can we please delete posts that are just screenshots of headlines without linking to the actual article?

Downvoted for dumbing down our platform. We're better than this..

I agree with this. It should be mandatory to link to sources. Too many times have I seen screenshots like this that turned out to be a fake/edit/shitpost.

I think this is the article (though the title has changed somewhat.) Link

I'm just trying to jumpstart a new community with what I've got. As better content is added it will rise above. If you have something better to post please support this community by doing so.

What? Just delete the post and re-post it with the link to the article.

better content...will rise above

I don't think so. You're setting a precedent that it's OK to post screenshots of headlines, and others will follow.

Your tone seems a bit hostile, although you have a good point.

You'd have to be fucking insane to call the cops at this point unless you have absolutely no other choice.

Or, y'know, you have to be a kid who's been spoonfed propaganda about the Heroes in Blue their whole life

https://www.npr.org/2023/06/14/1182259584/aderrien-murry-mississippi-police-officer-suspended-without-pay, found the link from npr as it's, I dunno, slightly better than cnn most days. Looks to be a lot of unknowns.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a scenario where shooting an 11 yr old is even even an option.

At this point in USA it's better to be robbed than call the pigs for help

[-] RedCat@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 years ago

Too... precise... the angles I mean.

[-] CITRUS@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 years ago

Did they photoshop someone else's hair on??? I mean totally not the focal point of the story, maybe because we are numb to cops being bastards, but the hair is VERY weird.

Yeah, I know, but... it was just very off, bugged me ๐Ÿ˜‚. Looks like it was sprayed on or something...

Looks like America is adopting Canadian suicide assistance with their own spin on things.
