I find it both cool and sad to see how much work is put into the art of cards mainly played in limited.

On the one hand, many people get to see and play with them if they mainly play limited, making it cooler if the art is also cool. On the other hand, many of the cards played in limited are only ever playable in limited, so a majority of players who mainly play constructed formats never see these.
