Do you like sneaking? Because if so, you're in for a treat.
One of my favorite achievements I earned in the first Dishonored was the one where I snuck through the entire game undetected and didn’t kill a single person. I had to restart levels quite a bit to get it lmao.
That's another one of the beauties of these games. Even if you don't, you'll still have a blast. And it makes for great replay value.
First playthrough I didn't mind going loud, since I could just murder everyone then take my time looting and exploring. I'd end up making the evil decisions just to stay on brand.
Second time I could up the challenge and try all stealth and nonviolence and see where the good decisions take me.
Sneaky archer is a way of life
My complaint about the first one is that they make killing people so much fun, and then punish you with the bad ending if you do it too much
At that point, why include all the lethal tools?
Well, to show you the consequence of your choices.
That's just one way increase replayability. Now you have to do a non-lethal run to see the good ending.
Played the first one a few years ago. Bought the second one a few years ago however I've no where to play it. Waiting on it being added to GeForce now. Until then it sits on steam like a bunch of other games I can't play
I watched a walkthrough of the fist one when it came out and thought it was awesome. A friend of mine also played it and strongly recommended me the whole series. Let us know your thoughts
I bought Dishonoured back on the Xbox 360 and it was fun but for some reason I dropped off and never played the series again.
One of my favorite game series
Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider are some of my favorite games of all time.
Damn, I should really get to it then. I finished the first one and started 2 (twice!), but for some reason I couldn't get into it.
The only one I've not played through all the way is death of the outsider (oh and I never finished deathloop but got what I wanted out of it).
I wonder what playing deathloop feels like this close to playing the actual dishonoured games.
I recently replayed Dishonored and a bit of the second one (I think around half of it iirc). The first one is one of my favourite games I think, it’s so good. I forgot just how much I loved it. I still haven’t touched the third one though, and it’s been a few years since I completed the second one
I've tried a few times to get into this series without success. Not sure why but I can't stick with it.
