Less is more: Can degrowth save the world?
Wrong question - can it save society as we know it in the modern world, and no, it can't. It can help future people learn how to survive scarcity and harsher conditions, which is important and not something the world is focusing on.
I'm a "it's too late anyway but we should do something" person, and heavy degrowth is what we should be doing right now. It will totally disrupt how we live, since civilization for a very long time has been all about growth as a metric for success.
Discussions about degrowth and all sorts of related topics. This includes UBI, economic democracy, the economics of green technologies, enviromental legislation and many more intressting economic topics.
