Oh dear, the definition has a typo that completely inverses the meaning

"A part of the Fediverse" is what it should say, but currently says "apart of the Fediverse"

Probably only goobers will miss what's actually meant there but still, funny

I noticed that right away too. It's a common error in a larger set where one mistakes whether two words should be joined or not. And as you say, it reverses the meaning.

Kbin has had a small[1] entry on the Wikipedia page for Fediverse since the 10th of June[2]. Not a full page or even a paragraph, but it pre-dates the UD entry by a good few weeks.

[1]: When I say small, it's less text than I've typed out here, but it's there.
[2]: Date can be found on the History page of that article. The anonymous person was at kind enough to include the string "Kbin" in their edit explanation too.
