I’d personally be fine if they skip PLvAA to focus on AA7. Most people I know, including myself, were a little bit disappointed by certain aspects of PLvAA.
I certainly don't mind if they skip PLvsAA, since it's so non-canon and gathering an interorganizational team now seems a bit late. Surely, people aren't going to wait untill all previous Layton games and Ace Attorney crossover get ported, to experience AA7.
