Can't say I have experience, but seems it would risk the skirt.
Seems kilt wearers lift up though, so I'm probably wrong.
if the skirt is long enough i try to put it with a little bit in my shirt (by the neck piece) to hold it up
the catgirl is right, that's the best way to do it. it wears out the skirt more if you pull it down 🤷♀️
