To give OP a boon, my friend's mother had a plaque with a saying along the lines of "I was born against my will and I will die against my will. So please let me at least live like I want to."
I think that's a good philosophy to approach your own life and the people you encounter.
I liked the quote until I started to think of the negative parameters of such a saying. It comes down to who is saying it < their intention.

Hmm. I don't know about that. Maybe certain very rich people have more freedom regarding the way they can live. I just have to do 9-5, no questions asked.
And therefore have the right to end it whenever I feel like doing so.
I mean there are lots of deadly poisonous plants, but legally killing yourself is hard as fuck.
