That top guy seems like a strong candidate
Three sentences. Twelve words. Unlimited titties.
Honestly brings a lot to the table. They've got my vote.
Its /r/OpenAI, shouldn't they just ask an AI to moderate?
The AI can't afford the API costs.
What if they had an "analog hole": pay someone to copy and paste things-to-moderate to ChatGPT and copy and paste the responses back while logged in as the mod.
"Please moderate this subreddit for us. Tools are provided below. Please channel the ghost of Aaron Swartz in everything you do."
This is the litmus test to see if something AI is hype or legit. Are they using AI to actually help out with tasks?
If an author is praising AI and saying it'll replace creative media and writing -- and they wrote it themselves -- they really don't have faith in AI.
People like Wraith are why Reddit won't die from this and companies will continue these shitty practices.
I read their reply as sarcasm, especially the "give my all" bit.
Knowing Reddit admins, he's probably serious
It's either really good satire or he's actually the neckbeardiest of neckbeards.
They'll get shit mods who want to run the subreddit like a petty fiefdom and drive more users away.
The gentry has landed!
they slowed things down in an attempt to try and get more scabs, they even reduced the limits to apply to take over a community, still haven't found enough people. MCoC is now on full auto, is not replying to anything and is just taking over subs and re-opening them with no moderators other than MCoC
What could go wrong?
it's fine, im sure everything is fine now
There’s always a fresh supply of scabs willing to cross the picket line.
And do we have those so called functions to vote in or out moderators yet???
