MODERATORS
Please stop spreading misinformation about how the government works. The supreme Court made abortion illegal. It doesn't matter who controls the white house and congress. And can we stop being so pessimistic for one moment? Kamala represents real generational change in the leadership of our government
They didn't make it illegal, they made it's illegallity enforceable.
It's not a super big difference, but if we're being pedantic about misinformation...
I didn't say otherwise. I said Dems controlled the other two branches of government and did nothing to change that, and it's a factual statement.
Yeah, I bought into that the first time they sold it to me back in 2008. All we got for it was a dead terrorist, legal torture, more expensive health care and... basically nothing else. And Obama had a supermajority for a while too.
Dems don't have majority in the House and any attempts at making change is blocked by Republicans.
