On January 21, 2010, the court issued a 5โ€“4 decision in favor of Citizens United that struck down the BCRA restrictions on independent political expenditures by corporations as violations of the First Amendment,

It doesn't matter who wins if the corporations have bought both sides.

Yes, unfortunately. The corporatocracy wins.

But socially there is certainly a difference and voting does matter. But that is a distraction.
