Ironically, it's a pretty well-known one itself (you see people just refer to it by mentioning "today's 10000").

Go pick up smoke and mirrors, it’s a short story collection, very easy to get into. If you love it, check out the American Gods novel and the Sandman comics. The original sandman is a bit dated at this point, but still some amazing storytelling.
Ironically, my favorite story from that collection is a hundred word horror story about Santa.
Huh... Maybe OP is just really offended on St Nick's behalf?
Also Sandman, which recently got a good Netflix adaptation
