I loved the last episode. It had something a lot of recent Star Wars missed: stakes.

Not a waste at all. It’s got a lot of backstory needed for the rest of the show. Plus, witches!

Episode 3 spends an entire episode to really hammer home that the jedi aren't always so great. They already hinted plenty before and after this episode about everything that matters in 3.

I wasn't waiting for poor action scenes where characters appear and disappear as the plot demands.
