The purpose of deer management is to regulate the population's size, reduce negative effects of population on the ecosystem, and maintain the integrity of other populations.

Ie to make sure nature doesn't get fucked.

You don't know what ecological conservation is, or you're actually against it..?

So you don't believe in the need to protect nature?

For instance when you visit Australia, there's very stringent procedures so you don't bring any invasive animals or plants with you. Can't even have slightly dirty boots with foreign soil.

How is that "antropocentric optimisation"?
