What will you do when the company shuts down and it becomes a $200 brick?
Install a custom ROM and DIY. That's what I would likely do anyway for privacy

Are you making this custom ROM? Seems unlikely anyone else will. To what end? A cheap phone does much more with better feel and battery life.
It's just more ~~on a computer~~ with AI garbage.
No other device has the same form factor as far as I can tell. All of the influencers have single handedly screwed this company over.
The company screwed themselves by hyping a nothing burger. The influencers just helped unaware consumers to not fall for this scam.
Wait. So you're saying the only appeal of the device, is the hardware?
200 bucks of what's reportedly exactly as cheap-feeling as the price suggests?
I like the hardware
There are much better devices to tinker with.
