Ahhh, an early form of the Team America approach. Matt & Trey shot the most over-the-top nonsense they could think of so the MPAA busybodies would label it NC-17 and go 'but it'd be R if you removed the sex scene where the puppets shit on each other.'

It's comedy as ablative armor.
