It isn't weird. It's just the primordia (stage before fruiting) forming everywhere.
You're supposed to cut only one small slit/X in the bag, not everything.
Spot on! We do about 1000 of these a week and do a x cut. This one was weird because it grew upside down and broke the bag
Oops, sorry! Didn't know that! :) I thought, you're new to mushroom farming 😅
Only got a couple years under my belt so I still consider myself new no worries!
