I'm enjoying Connect for Lemmy, however I need pointers on how to get more content for my lemmy front page.
I just got Connect for Lemmy and what I've done is set every text size to small and removed "Cards". This makes it feel a lot more like RiF. Hope this helps!
Also using these settings, working great. Only bug right now seems to be that I can't access all communities, unlike on Liftoff
Turning off cards was legitness. See more headlines that way.
If you find an insightful comment by someone, and you follow the link to their profile, you can see what other communities they're posting in. I find this to be one of the best ways of discovery.
With wefwef I got access to All which is all I was missing leaving reddit sync behind
I don't know if you're in the loop but Sync dev is in the process of creating Sync for Lemmy.
Yeah, I am looking forward to try sync for lemmy.
All apps should let you browse all instead of local
My guess is that "all" technically just is a bunch of communities the app developer has chosen to be under all.
I would like to have an app with different themed views. Like a tech view showing all my tech communities. Maybe a meme channel with only meme communities and so on.
Sorting by new comments is a good way to find posts with active conversation going on.

Btw your comment is posted 4 times. Probably because Lemmy.world is lagging right now
