I imagine "cooking" rocks is more comparable to toasting bread or poptarts, changing the flavor or texture and thus the experience of eating them. I'm pretty sure the flint guy just eats the flint raw, but my memory ain't great lol.
You guys are getting way too deep into this and I'm here for it.
