Florida's Republican governor said he would seek to abolish the departments of Education, Commerce and Energy, as well as the IRS.

"If Congress will work with me on doing that, we'll be able to reduce the size and scope of government," he added. "If Congress won't go that far, I'm going to use those agencies to push back against woke ideology and against the leftism that we see creeping into all institutions of American life."

OMFG what a fucking bozo. So what he's proposing (among other very dumb things...literally) is an energy infrastructure like Texas. That'll go over real well.

Texas would try to convince the average resident that 95 degrees in your house IS room temperature if they could get away with it.

Funny enough I thought that's what room temperature was until I looked it up just now.

Colloquially, room temperature is a range of air temperatures that most people prefer for indoor settings. It feels comfortable to a person when they are wearing typical indoor clothing. Human comfort can extend beyond this range depending on humidity, air circulation and other factors. Food or beverages may be served at room temperature, meaning neither heated nor cooled.
