I'd be keen to set up or support a Wellington community on the NZ lemmy :)

Hey, so we are currently less than 100 users so having users create communities is currently disabled. For most things, other communities on the Lemmyverse are a better fit.

However, location-based ones make a lot of sense. It sounds like you'd like a Wellington one. Anyone else want a region specific one?

I've created !wellington, no sidebar or icon or anything yet but you should be able to post to it :)
