Depends on the board. It's just a virtual meet up of all the village idiots.
Sure, but the culture of 4chan as a whole sucks ass, even if some boards are not as bad as others.
Same is largely true for any board that gets big enough on the internet.
Imo 4chan stands alone in how bad it is, but I see your point.
4chan is extreme in both ways. They did get a terrorist camp bombed and Katawa shoujo is legit fantastic. But then it also had QAnon trolling (which moved to 8chan soon) and /pol/.
