I installed the newer version of revanced on my SO’s phone and after a while it started just like… stopping videos out of nowhere. By that point I forgot how to reinstall it, and didnt feel like relearning all that, so unfortunately it’s back to ad city :/
Updates should have fixed that issue. I was getting it for a while too.
I can’t remember how to update unfortunately.
They have a discord server that's pretty active. I know you have to first get the Revanced Manager, then download the recommended YouTube apk, and then patch it through the Manager
Yeah it needs to be updated every once in a while. I've been on the same build for a few weeks with no issues thankfully.

Well I do on my computer, but is it on android as well?
Yeah, I use Firefox with ublock origin and all YouTube videos open through ff, which is superior to the app.
