(sorry if anyone got this post twice. I posted while Lemmy.World was down for maintenance, and it was acting weird, so I deleted and reposted)
They became "unisex" (often still labeled men's clothes and on men's section of the store) because so many women used them.
It's unisex because of how common it was and still is. Meaning there's no issue about it since there basically isn't male clothing anymore.
I guess what I'm wondering about is what sort of clothes these butches are wearing to cause issues?
