There. See? I'm federating with lemmy via the wonders of the hyperlink protocol. And I didn't even need to share my data with tankies who want me dead.

Between this and the whole "CCP bots" discourse I am starting to get imposter syndrome for feeling like I don't have the ludicrous hacking powers that these people think MLs have.

There's no built-in data gathering on Lemmy. Like nothing beyond what's required for instances to function, which is exactly what raddler collects too (username, encrypted passwords, comments, etc). I don't think we even run analytics software on Lemmygrad -- more general reddit-like instances would be more likely to do it than us lol

Plausible could be good since it's lightweight, supposedly privacy respecting, and self hostable.

Leftist Infighting: A community dedicated to allowing leftists to vent their frustrations

The purpose of this community is sort of a "work out your frustrations by letting it all out" where different leftist tendencies can vent their frustrations with one another and more assertively and directly challenge one another. Hostility is allowed, but any racist, fascist, or reactionary crap wont be tolerated, nor will explicit threats.
