It's induction and unless you are dragging your arm across the top the likelihood of burning yourself is nil.

Even while cooking when water boils and oil splashes?

[-] Frostbeard@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

That is an issue regardless of the mode of heating

[-] uis@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Exactly my point

If your oil or water is splashing that high then you shouldn't be cooking anyways.

Water boils, read what I wrote

[-] ChronosWing@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 years ago

It sure does but if it's flying out of your pot high enough to hit your arm then you shouldn't be cooking.

Aaaand you are still talking about splashing, not about boiling and evaporation. Do you at least know what steam is?

[-] ChronosWing@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 years ago

Yes, it's clear you've never used this type of stove top so maybe stop talking about shit you have no idea about. At no point would reaching over your cookware even with steam are you going to burn yourself. Your arm should never come that close in contact with the cookware unless you are a fucking moron.
